Description
This show we will have a legend in the world of training, John Hackleman founder of “The PIT” on the show. After John we are going to have Idaho’s biggest name on the show Jens “Lil Evil” Pulver. John Hackleman founded “The PIT” in 1986 in Woodland Hills, California as a training gym in the art of Kajukenbo. John began training Judo and KaJuKenBo under Walter Godin at the age of ten. John spent 3 years in the Army on the Army Boxing Team and won State and Regional Golden Glove Titles. Hackleman later went on to a pro boxing career with a record of 15-3 with 90% of those wins being KO’s. The PIT is most famous for being the home of Ex Light Heavy Weight Champ Chuck Liddell and WEC newcomer Antonio Banuelos, but the PIT has changed its Fighter only attitude to opening the doors to families and children. The PIT offers classes to children as young as 3 years old, you can check out The PIT’s home page at http://www.thepit.tv/ Our next guest Jens “Lil Evil” Pulver is the first UFC lightweight champion, and past Ultimate Fighter season 5 coach. Pulver began wrestling in sixth grade and went on to win two high school state championships. Pulver went to Highline Community College where he became an NJCAA All-American by placing in the top eight at the NJCAA National Championships and later came to BSU before an injury ended his career. Jens began fighting in underground MMA matches before getting into organized MMA events like the Bas Rutten Invitational. Jens began training with Bob Shamrocks team after winning his second invite to Bas’ event, but later found his home in Iowa with Pat Miletich. Jens has fought for the UFC, Pride, and WEC to name a few organizations. He has fought names like Caol Uno, B.J. Penn, and Urijah Faber. About the Author ()

My brain child is MMAValor, something I had wanted to do for a long time and finally it’s here. Been an MMA fan since TUF season one (play catch up all the time) and the obsession started to grow like a weed and as the sport grows so does the love for the sport. I’m a jack of all trades, a very organized person that rides an emotional roller coaster daily.
