Tired of fighters excuses
These days more and more fighters take the easy way out when they lose and blame it on something other then themselves. Whether its an injury they had before the fight, over training or a bad call by the ref, its always something. Too few fighters actually man up and say they made a mistake or just got caught these days that’s its getting ridiculous. If it’s not Tito Ortiz claiming he had a “broken skull” or BJ Penn crying “grease-gate” its Josh Koscheck claiming the ref stopped it early even though his eyes rolled into the back of his head. It goes on and on with excuse after excuse and I’m getting rather tired of them to be honest.
The latest to play the blame game is Brad Blackburn who on Dumb-out.net said he lost to Amir Sadollah because of dehydration. Claiming that his fight with the TUF season 7 winner Sadollah “wasn’t a tough fight at all”, Blackburn went on to say…
“I was dehydrated, I had nothing starting in the first round. If you look at all my other fights, I come out faster then that, I throw more punches then that, I’m stronger then that, I had nothing in the first round…..I was week, I was slow and a horrible performance and that’s why I’m pissed. It was like my first aired UFC fight and that had to happen, I’m in the best shape of my life and I couldn’t do anything.”
Blackburn explained that he usually re-hydrates with the aid of IVs and did not do that this time thus deviating from his normal weight cutting ritual and in turn costing him the fight. Ok so Blackburn blames the lose on “HIM” deviating from his normal routine by not getting IVs to hydrate. You lost because you didn’t properly re-hydrate correctly and came into the fight unprepared(dehydrated) so just man up and shut up. Learn from this mistake and come back better but don’t place the blame on something else and/or disrespect your opponent.

we need more chucks, I am not going to go into detail about fighters calling foul, but I got caught is fine enough for me.
Really…. Is he serious?
He lost because he was obviously not a good enough competitor against AMIR.. if he was dehydrated he should have noticed that HOURS before a fight and done something about it..
*SMACKS HAND TO FOREHEAD*
sheesh..
fighters are lil divas sometimes
just like silva saying his fight with leben was not fair because Leben took it to the ground. what a idiot
@MMAQuick
I know huh. Like when Heath Herring fought Jake O’brien he was complaining he lost because O’brien wanted to take the fight to the ground.
