Herschel Walker to face Scott Carson on January 29

A fight between Herschel Walker and Scott Carson that was scrapped from Strikeforce St. Louis will now happen January 29, 2011. Scott Coker announced the fight today on the San Fransisco based radio station KNBR.

The first Strikeforce event of 2011 will take place in the promotions home base of San Jose, California.

Coker also said the main event and co-main event will also be announced shortly. Nick Diaz is expected to be a part of one of those fight, but they are waiting on an opponent for him.
