Cagesport MMA will once again rock the Emerald Queen Casino in Tacoma, Washington on Saturday, February 19 for Cagesport 13. It’s the first event of the year for Cagesport, a Brian Halquist production.

The Washington-based promotion will be opening the year with “our best line up yet”, according to Halquist. The event will feature four fighters that are sure to put on a great show.

The main event will feature former North American muay thai and Pankration welterweight champion, Landon “The Show” Showalter against Justin “Dangerous” Davis who has fought for Strikeforce and the XFC.

Former UFC fighter and Washington native, Brad Blackburn will be making his Cagesport debut on the card as well. Blackburn was last seen at Bellator 25 last August, where he lost a unanimous decision to Dan Hornbuckle. Blackburn fought five times in the UFC, going 3-2 but after back to back defeats he was released.

Also on the card will be Cagesport veteran Bryan “Kid Lightning” Caraway who has also fought on a Strikeforce SHOMMA card back in June of 2009. Caraway is 2-0 under the Cagesport banner with both wins coming via triangle choke.

First fight on the card will begin at 7 p.m. Tickets are $35, $55 and $100 and are available at the Emerald Queen Casino box office 1-888-831-7655 and at all Ticketmaster outlets.

About the Author ()

My brain child is MMAValor, something I had wanted to do for a long time and finally it’s here. Been an MMA fan since TUF season one (play catch up all the time) and the obsession started to grow like a weed and as the sport grows so does the love for the sport. I’m a jack of all trades, a very organized person that rides an emotional roller coaster daily.
