A fight card that needs no judges is music to the ears of both the fighters and the fans. At tonight Bellator 36 from the Shreveport Municipal Auditorium in Shreveport, La the judges could have taken the night off because none of the seven fights went the distance.

An exciting start to the Bellator lightweight tournament saw two first round submissions and two (T)KO victories on the main card. The nights undercard was more of the same as none of the fights made it out of the second round.

The night saw a few upsets, but none were bigger than lightweight tournament favorite and former WEC champion Rob McCullough getting knocked out by Patricky Freire. After getting rocked in the first round McCullough was on the defensive for the remainder of the round, fending off the submissions of Freire. McCullough seemed to turn things around in round two but in the third round Freire dropped the tournament favorite with a right hand and the fight was over.

The second event of season 4 on MTV2 was exciting, entertaining and full of action, here is how the rest of the night’s action played out.

My brain child is MMAValor, something I had wanted to do for a long time and finally it’s here. Been an MMA fan since TUF season one (play catch up all the time) and the obsession started to grow like a weed and as the sport grows so does the love for the sport. I’m a jack of all trades, a very organized person that rides an emotional roller coaster daily.
