Fight Network Acquires Multi-Year Broadcast Rights for IT’S SHOWTIME
Canada’s only TV channel dedicated to complete coverage of combat sports, the Fight Network announced today that is has acquired the multi-year English-language broadcast rights for IT’S SHOWTIME to air up to 10 events per year live. Five event dates are already confirmed for 2011 with five more cards across Europe to be announced.
The Fight Network is carried nationally on all major cable, satellite and telco systems in Canada and includes fights, fighters, fight news and fight lifestyle.
Fight Network will air IT’S SHOWTIME events LIVE and on tape delay in their entirety. As part of the content deal, Fight Network will air all IT’S SHOWTIME events from 2010.

Founded in 1999, IT’S SHOWTIME is the most famous Kickboxing/MMA/K-1 organization in Europe and one of the most active in the world. IT’S SHOWTIME fights are conducted under K-1 rules with seven different weight classes.
