Ultimate Fight Night 24 Fighters in Jeopardy

This coming Saturday night the fans are in for a delightful and free fight card coming live from Seattle Washington and airing on Spike TV. The main event features a tough matchup between one of the best prospects in Phil Davis against a tough veteran in Antonio Rogerio Nogueira, and an absolute slugfest between Dan Hardy and Anthony Johnson.

While the night promises some exciting fights that will eliminate contenders it also poses a threat to some jobs inside of the UFC. Below are the three frights with the most chance of a loser walks situation.

Jon Madsen vs. Mike Russow – Both fighters are on a great winning streak but don’t get caught up in the hype. Both have delivered only few moments of a fight that was watchable, and have received thousands of tweets and harsh words for being boring or not doing very well at all in victory. This will most likely be another wrestling match ending in a booing cardio less failure that forces Dana to finally pull the plug on one of the fighters.

Kris McCray vs. John Hathaway – Coming off his first career loss Hathaway is not in danger of being cut but McCray was stopped in his last two fights after delivering less than stellar performances. He has shown some very exciting and promising moments, but Hathaway is a bigger step up then the last two guys that beat him. If McCray loses his third fight in a row, it might be time to think about the Strikeforce migration.

Mario Miranda vs. Aaron Simpson – Both fighters were once great prospects and both share two losses inside of the UFC to top-tier talent of the division. In a crowded house there is only room for one of these guys to continue forward, that is unless the judges or an ultimate scrap save the loser for one more shot at glory.

Been an MMA fan since TUF season one (play catch up all the time) and the obsession started to grow like a weed and as the sport grows so does the love for the sport.
