The Mexican Mixed Martial Artist was born in Obregón, Sonora and was the third pick by Junior Dos Santos. Torres has a background Boxing, Wrestling, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Muay Thai, Kickboxing and has two professional fights coming into the show, winning both fights via submission.
