The return home for Fedor Emelianenko is set for November 20th as “the last emperor” will take on Jeff Monson inside the Olympic Stadium in Moscow, Russian. After nearly 10 years without a defeat, Emelianenko (31-4, 1NC) has lost his last three fights before being shown the door by Strikeforce.
Monson (42-12) is coming off a unanimous decision loss to Daniel Cormier that snapped an eight fight win streak by “the snowman”. The submission wrestler has fought everywhere and practically everyone in his 14 year MMA career.
It’s a battle of MMA veterans looking to get back in the win column.
