Don’t Forget Badr Hari and Gokhan Saki headline a stacked It’s Showtime 55 card Tomorrow

Its Showtime 55

With a fight card that should please even the most discerning kickboxing fan, It’s Showtime, Europe’s leading kickboxing organization has put together a series of match-ups that should come with a combat sports “over excitement warning”. With the feature bout of Badr Hari, who is leaving the sport versus monster competitor Gokhan Saki, fans will be tuning in to witness a true living legend in kickboxing say his last goodbyes with punches and kicks.

It’s Showtime 55 literally features a who’s who of kickboxing stars, which also has a title fight slated between current champ Hesdy Gerges and known leg destroyer, Daniel Ghita.

Although Hari’s retirement bout is getting the most ink, it’s the Tyrone Spong vs. Melvin Manhoef fight that could possibly steal the show. Also featured on the card is Robin Van Roosmalen, who wrote his own Cinderella tale at last year’s Its Showtime: Fast and Furious tournament by coming in as a last-minute replacement, only to end up winning the competition.

Not to be overshadowed would be scheduled performances from the likes of Errol Zimmerman, Yohan Lidon, Hafid El Boustati, and Ben Edwards. Take a look at the full card below, and try to find one fight on there that kickboxing fans wouldn’t salivate over. It’s Showtime 55 will be broadcast on HDNet this Saturday, January 28th at 12pm PT / 3pm ET. It’s going to be incredible.
