Super Fight League II Results Breakdown

Super Fight League

MMA Fans were greeted this Saturday morning to some great live and free overseas MMA action. Super Fight League held its second event in India, hosting some of MMA stars who have fallen slightly off the main stage and are looking for big wins to get back into the big leagues. Herb Dean was on hand to help referee eight bouts streaming live on YouTube.

The event started off with Ryan Healy using his superior control to beat Paul Kelly to a Unanimous decision loss. Healy now holds a 23-11 record and is back on the radar and could quite possibly make his way back to Strikeforce, which he hasn’t seen since 2008.

The next notable bout was Alexander Shlemenko and his quick finish of pride, K-1 and dream star Ikuhisa Minowa. Minowa was folded over with body knees and punches and only lasted about a half of a round.

In the co main event Colleen Schneider went toe to toe with Cherie Buck, eventually securing the Crucifix and pounding her in route to a vicious second round TKO.The Main Event had ex UFC star Todd Duffee vs. Bellator star Neil Grove. Duffee had shown much interest in fighting for Bellators upcoming Heavyweight tournament but many were in question of this fight possibly taking him out of it. Needless to say Duffee came out swarming Grove with punches and in less than 40 seconds Herb Dean was saving Grove from further damage. This was a quality win for Duffee who has failed to win at all in the past 2 years after his departure loss in the UFC.

SFL is shaping up to be another great promotion to provide fight fans more good fights. Below are the full card results;
