Bellator 67 Main Card Predictions

Bellator-67-Poster

It’s that time of the week again and no I’m not just talking about the weekend. It’s fight day! This week Bellator presents Bellator 67 from Casino Rama in Rama, Ontario. With four cards to go until the season six finale, Bellator seems to be putting on better and better fight cards as the weeks go by.

This weeks’ edition fight card is as follows:

Main Card

Micheal Chandler vs Akihiro Gono
Ben Saunders vs Bryan Baker
Damian Grabowski vs Dave Huckaba
Ryan Ford vs Luis Santos

Preliminary Card

Cosmo Alexandre vs Lorawnt Nelson
Nick Kirk vs David Harris
Will Romero vs Matt Veal
Nordine Taleb vs Matt MacGrath
Nathan Gunn vs Dom O’Grady

By looking at the card we can already tell that the fans at Casino Rama as well as those watching on MTV2 are going to be treated to a great night of fights. The only change that would make this card slightly better  would be if the Cosmo Alexandre vs Lorawnt Nelson fight got moved to the main card. Alexandre has some serious talent when it comes to his striking.

The card features a non title superfight between current Bellator 155 lbs. champion Micheal Chandler and UFC & Pride veteran Akihiro Gono in the night’s main event.  A welterweight semi final between Ben Saunders and Bryan Baker is the nights co-main event, with the second semi final fight between David Rickels and Karl Amoussou taking place in two weeks. Rounding out the main card is a welterweight fight between Ryan Ford and Luis Santos in which the winner could possibly get himself a spot in a future Bellator 170 lbs. tournament, along with a heavyweight bout between Damian Grabowski and Dave Huckaba.

Bellator 67 Main Card Predictions:

Micheal Chandler vs Akihiro Gono – Micheal Chandler via unanimous decision
Ben Saunders vs Bryan Baker – Bryan Baker via 2nd round KO
Damian Grabowski vs Dave Huckaba – Damian Grabowski via 3rd round submission(armbar)
Ryan Ford vs Luis Santos – Luis Santos via unanimous decision
