Coalition Fight Music announced earlier today that the group has finalized a strategic partnership agreement with Shark Sports Management. The new partnership agreement will allow the Atlanta-based sports agency to offer Coalition Fight Music’s vast array of marketable services to the company’s growing list of clients within the MMA industry.
Specific services provided by CFM will include producing custom walkout tracks for Shark Sports Management athletes, in addition to developing exclusive “comic book style” artwork for t-shirts, posters, and various other merchandise forms, that will allow the athletes an opportunity to earn additional income outside of the cage.
In reference to the new deal with CFM, Shark Sports Management Owner Tim Holman was quoted as saying: “We look forward to this new sponsorship relationship between SSM and Coalition Fight Music, it will allow both companies to expand our brand awareness and recognition while providing our clients with the variety of services that CFM has to offer.”
CEO/Producer of Coalition Fight Music Tony Savo also made a statement in regards to the partnership, and had this to say about the new agreement: “Shark Sports Management has a solid reputation of creating financial opportunities for the fighters they represent and a legacy of supporting our returning troops transitioning into MMA careers. CFM couldn’t be prouder to partner with them and we look forward to a very prosperous relationship.”
The deal is part of a growing trend of next generation sponsorships that Coalition Fight Music has been pushing within the MMA community to increase fighter brand awareness, to connect more with the fans, and to ultimately tap into additional revenue streams. Coalition Fight Music is well-known by sports pundits around the globe for profit-sharing proceeds that range from digital downloads, TV/film soundtrack placement, as well as broadcast and streaming royalties with the many fighters they support, and this new partnership with SSM only further solidifies that very philosophy.
In the past year, Coalition Fight Music has sponsored Nick & Nate Diaz, Jake Shields, Jens Pulver, and several notable British MMA prospects. In addition, the group is an official co-sponsor of Europe’s most noticeable MMA promotion UCMMA. Shark Sports Management provides representation to athletes that span the NFL, as well as combat sport professionals, and have several fighters currently in XFC, LFC (Legacy Fighting Championships), Bellator, and UFC
