Last night’s XFC 19 took place at Charlotte’s Grady Cole Center with a main event put together just days before fight night. Just days ago the XFC 19 main event was scheduled as Corey Hill vs. Mike Bronzoulis but last night’s headliner ended up being Roger Carroll vs. Nicolae Cury.

The day before XFC 19 Bronzoulis dropped out of the bout with Hill and Carroll stepped in, but hour’s later Hill was scratched and Cury filled his spot. For Broncoulis, who also pulled out of his LFC 12 bout with Jay Hieron, it’s the second bout in a row in which he’s withdrew from during fight week.

Despite the late change at the top, XFC 19 still featured Felice Herrig in the co-main event and undefeated Nick Newell continuing his amazing story. Newell who improved to 8-0 with a first round knockout was born with a congenital amputation on his left arm which stops right past the elbow.

The XFC 19 seven bout main card aired live on AXS TV.

My brain child is MMAValor, something I had wanted to do for a long time and finally it’s here. Been an MMA fan since TUF season one (play catch up all the time) and the obsession started to grow like a weed and as the sport grows so does the love for the sport. I’m a jack of all trades, a very organized person that rides an emotional roller coaster daily.
