Xtreme Fighting Championships announces two more fighters headed for a June 14th Collision Course at XFC 24. Recent Lightweight Title contender Jason “The Ronin” Hicks is set to collide with, the always dangerous, Shah Bobonis, at the promotions much talked about homecoming show. The XFC’s 24th event takes place at the USF Sun Dome in Tampa, Florida and can be seen Live on “Your Home for MMA”, AXS TV.

Art and Combat Sports Combine for Charity

Combat sports like MMA and boxing have always had a stigma of being a barbaric sport associated with it. The uneducated and opponents only see the violence and jump to conclusions, while the fans know there is more to combat sports then just punching each other in the face. Take “Fight the City” as an example who are using combat sports, along with the art community as a platform to do something positive.

XFC Announces Co-Main Event for XFC 24

Xtreme Fighting Championships has announced the co-main event, for their already highly anticipated return to The Sunshine State at XFC 24. Things will surely heat up, when Nicolae Cury faces off against fellow Floridian Reggie Pena, in a middleweight showdown, Live on AXS TV. The event takes place at the USF Sundome, in Tampa, Florida on June 14th.

The 11 bout fight card featured both amateur and professional MMA action with several exciting finishes. Bill Widler and Hector Sandoval Victorious at Rogue Fights’ Ultimate River Throwdown

Hector Sandoval (5-1), fighting for Urijah Faber’s Team Alpha Male in Sacramento, CA, won a unanimous decision over Robby Schepps of Team Quest in Redding, CA. Sandoval broke his right hand early in round one, but that didn't stop him from dominating Schepps in strikes. The flyweights both had numerous submissions attempts, but neither could finish, so the judges decided.
