For the next two plus days you'll hear about the "superfight" happening at UFC 156 between Featherweight champion Jose Aldo and the former lightweight champ Frankie Edgar. While many don't think it is necessarily that type of "superfight", it is a super fight nonetheless and one that most people not living under a rock want to see. Step away from the UFC 156 main event for a moment and you'll see a pretty fantastic main card, with a not too shabby preliminary card.

Bellator Returns Tomorrow with Stacked Card

Bellator is set to return with it's 8th season as they move into the new home on Spike TV on a new night. After their long ans at time rough stint with the UFC, Spike has moved on and will now being airing the weekly tournament. This Thursday, yes I said Thursday, Bellator will have two title fights plus the beginning of the light heavyweight tournament at Bellator 85.

So UFC middleweight champion Anderson Silva is set to sign a new 10 fight deal with the UFC. Yes i said 10 fights, yes the guy is the number one pound for pound fighter in the world, yes he's undefeated while in the UFC, but at 37, 38 by the time he fights again, can he even last that long?

If No Superfight, What is next for Georges St. Pierre?

All this nonsense "superfight" talk should stop. Georges St. Pierre is the reigning, most dominant welterweight champion ever and is totally in his right to say no to the fight with Anderson Silva. Whether you are in favor or not of the GSP vs. Silva fight it doesn't appear to be in the cards, so here is my take on what Dana White and company should do with the welterweight division.

New Heavyweight champion to be Crowned at Bellator 84

On December 14th, Rich "Rare Bread" Hale will be taking on Alexander "Drago" Volkov at Bellator 84 in Hammond Indiana at the Horseheads Casino for the Heavyweight title. The title did belong to Cole Konrad, but an abrupt retirement left the title up for grabs. So Bellator CEO Bjorn Rebney said the winner of the season 7 tournament would be crowned the new heavyweight champion.

Psst, Daniel Cormier still needs an Opponent for November 3rd!

Daniel Cormier was slated to fight Frank Mir next month, but in what seems to be a regular occurrence, Mir had to pull out of the fight because of an injury. Cormier and Strikeforce are still looking for a replacement fight, but have not had much in the way of luck yet.

Bellator fighter Rich "Rare Breed" Hale (19-4-1, 4-1 Bellator) normally fights at light heavyweight, but at tomorrow's Bellator 75 he will step up and fight in the season seven Bellator heavyweight tournament. Hale will face former TUF: The Heavies competitor Mike Wessel in the opening round and as he readies for today's weigh-in today, Rich took some time to have a six-pack on ICE.

Post UFC 152: Deciding where the Big Winner’s go next

Now that the LONG awaited UFC 152 is over, some may be wondering where do some of the winners go now. Overall UFC 152 was very good, from the beginning preliminaries through most of the Pay Per View main card, we had several good finishes and one near HUGE upset.
