Strikeforce: Watch the Miesha Tate and Ronda Rousey weigh-in video

Both Miesha Tate and Ronda Rousey have done an excellent job selling their bantamweight championship bout that will be headlining tonight's Strikeforce: Tate vs. Rousey card. All the trash talking wasn't just for show and selling tickets though, as you can see that the champion genuinely doesn't care for the challenger. When the two ladies went face to face at the weigh-ins, they literally went "face to face".

Justin McCully doesn’t think Tim Sylvia could beat him

After a two and a half-year layoff, Justin McCully is back and will be making his second trip back into the cage for Resurrection Fighting Alliance. The drive to compete and to test himself is what drew him back to fighting, after going just 2-2 in the UFC. The recently turned 36-year-old didn’t know what to expect when he got back in that cage, on December 16th, to face Justin Grizzard. What he got was a TKO win, a date to fight Derrick Lewis at RFA 2 and the confidence in knowing that he can still perform at a high level in MMA.

Since we are now one month removed from Christmas, I didn’t think I would have to think about elves until next December. Bryan “The Angry Elf” Lashomb is making me change that thought, however. On February 4th fans will see the undefeated pro take a giant leap up in competition as he fights for the vacant Flyweight title at Cage Fury Fighting Championships 13, in Atlantic City, NJ.

Don’t CalL It a Comeback, He’s Been Here for Years

The New Year is coming and this is the time where we often reflect on the events and happenings of the current year. I remember ringing in 2011, and thinking back to November of 2010, where I saw L.C. Davis lose a unanimous decision to Raphael Assuncao at WEC 52. The loss was L.C.’s second in a row, which resulted in his subsequent release from Zuffa, Inc., which had recently announced that World Extreme Cagefighting would merge with the UFC.
