It is time for the third annual World MMA Awards taking place today, Wednesday, December 1st in Las Vegas at The Pearl inside the Palms Casino Resort. After the success of the 2008 and 2009 awards the 2010 black-tie style celebration event promises to be an even bigger success featuring celebrities from sports and entertainment. Estimates based on cast votes by fans show that the event’s popularity has more than doubled since last year.
The ever popular MMA reality TV show, MTV’s Bully Beatdown, is back on the air for its third season, with its host and middleweight MMA fighter Jason Mayhem Miller (24-7-1), well-known referee “Big” John McCarthy and a cast of exciting new fighters. This season is promising better and more exciting fights with longer rounds, smaller headgear, and tougher bullies, plus a female bully and fighter for the first time on the show.
United Glory put on an action packed show to kick off its first Kickboxing and MMA World Series in Europe. The first event took place at the Passenger Terminal in Amsterdam on Saturday Oct. 16th and is to be followed by two more events – the semi-finals in February 2011 in Belgium and finals in April 2011 in the Netherlands. The World Series is a combination of two separate tournaments for MMA and Kickboxing.

SAN JOSE, Cal. – Still recovering from Saturday’s UFC 148, MMAValor.com was inside the HP Pavilion for today’s UFC on FUEL TV 4 weigh-ins. A few of the fighters would need to step onto the scale behind a towel but all 22 fighters on the UFC on FUEL TV 4 fight card made weight.
