Hettes and Siler on collision course at UFC on FX 4
Two of the UFC’s young guns in the Featherweight division have signed on to meet one another at UFC on FX 4 as Jimy “The Kid” Hettes and Steven Siler will take on one another on the June 22nd card.

Rick Hawn impressive in Lightweight debut at Bellator 62
Rick Hawn had impressed many in the MMA world when he made the transition to the sport and achieved great success in the Bellator Welterweight tournament, falling just short to Jay Heiron in the finals. At last night’s Bellator 62 Hawn once again impressed fans in his Lightweight debut , defeating Ricardo Tirloni just 2:36 into the first round via KO. It was only the 2nd loss of Tirloni’s carreer, the only other one coming to current UFC Lightweight Champion, Benson Henderson back in 2007.
Bellator 61 Main Card Breakdown
Bellator will kick off its Middleweight Tournament at tonight’s Bellator 61 from the Orleans Room Orleans Room at Horseshoe Riverdome in Bossier City, La. The Main Event will feature Miguel Falcao make his Bellator debut as he takes on Norman Paraisy.

What’s next on the plate for Ben Henderson?
MMA fans who religiously followed the WEC during it’s time under the ZUFFA banner will remember the talk from fans that the WEC Lightweight fighters couldn’t hang with any of the top-level UFC fighters. Lorenzo Fertitta says Mir vs Velasquez, Ortiz vs Griffin in the works
UFC Co-Owner Lorenzo Fertitta announced over Twitter last night two bouts that are currently in the works. According to Fertitta, Frank Mir (16-5) and Cain Velasquez (9-1) are on course to meet one another in the Octagon, while rivals Tito Ortiz (16-10) and Forrest Griffin (18-7) could be heading for their 3rd fight to round out the trilogy.
