Veteran UFC middleweight Vitor Belfort has looked impressive his last two fights but those performances have been heavily clouded due to his TRT use. After defeating former Strikeforce middleweight champion Luke Rockhold with a highlight reel knockout, Vitor Belfort has been calling for a title shot.
The ladies have been moved to the passenger’s seat for final UFC event of the year. Newly crowned middleweight champion Chris Weidman and Anderson Silva will do it again on December 28th at UFC 168, bumping the Ronda Rousey vs. Miesha Tate title fight down to the nights co-main event.
Last night at UFC 162 Chris Weidman shocked the world, both in terms of result and execution. A worthy challenger to the throne long-held by Anderson Silva, Chris Weidman showed no fear in his bout against the greatest fighter of all time, hitting an early takedown and finding no purchase with several submission holds.
The Holiday weekend is still in full force and the UFC has one more night of fireworks planned for the fans with tonight’s UFC 162 from Las Vegas, Nevada. Summer is here, the Fourth of July weekend is upon us and the UFC is home in Las Vegas, Nevada for its med-year spectacular UFC 162. The stacked fight card will be the final event of the “UFC Fight Week”, which also includes the very popular Fan Expo.

With Bellator still on summer vacation it was up to the UFC and its fighters to potentially alter this month’s MMA fighter rankings. Since the last rankings came out there were three UFC events resulting in two new fighters breaking into their divisions top 5.
