Coming off the first ever fight to go to the judges’ scorecards, Brian Bowles will step back into the Octagon against Urijah Faber at UFC 139 in November. Both fighters last fought at UFC 132 earlier this month, Bowles defeating Takeya Mizugaki and Faber losing a unanimous decision to Dominick Cruz.

In one of the most exciting fights of the year and probably the biggest bantamweight fight in MMA history, champion Dominick Cruz avenged his only loss out pointing Urijah Faber over five rounds to earn the unanimous decision at UFC 132.  The two gladiators are now 1-1 against each other, and a rubber match is all but guaranteed.  The question is when do we get to see it?  With the 135-pound division a bit shallow in terms of a set of obvious contenders for Cruz’s strap, sooner is probably better than later.
