On the heels of the UFC announcing the TUF 16 cast, the promotion today revealed the cast and teams for next international version of the The Ultimate Fighter: Australia vs. UK. The season has been dubbed “The Smashes” and will feature 8 lightweight and 8 welterweight fighters representing Australia and the United Kingdom looking to becoming the next Ultimate Fighter.
Even though there was no UFC once again this weekend, that didn’t mean Mixed Martial Arts fans were without their MMA fix. Aside from Fridays TUF Live and Bellator 63, the first international version The Ultimate Fighter aired late Sunday night. Mixed in between those high-profile events was all the action from Saturday, here are the results from some of that action.
BAMMA announced today two more changes to Saturdays BAMMA 9 fight card. Both Fraser Opie and Matt Howard forced to withdraw from their scheduled fights due to injuries sustained during the final days of training. This is on top of the numerous other changes the BAMMA 9 fight card has undertaken since its initial announcement.
