WMMA has its stars and faces to better market and promote the sport and they have done a magnificent job and they wouldn’t be where it’s at now without standout performers and personalities like Gina Carano and Cristiane ‘Cyborg’ Santos.

UFC Announces First Quarter Twitter Bonuses

The Ultimate Fighting Championship announced today the first quarter winners of the Twitter bonuses for the months of June, July and August. The UFC / ZUFFA introduced the Twitter Bonus program during their Fighter Summit in May.

Gina Carano is Back…… Now What?

Mixed in between the two grand prix fights last Saturday, Strikeforce announced the return of Gina Carano (7-1) to fighting. Mislabeled as the face of women’s MMA during her rather awkward ringside interview, Carano confirmed she is back training for a return to the sport later this year.

Strikeforce has partnered up with CBS home entertainment and Paramount Home Entertainment to bring fans the DVD “Strikeforce MMA”. The DVD included over five hours of hard-hitting action and thrilling knockouts packed into a two-disc set presented in 16×9 widescreen.
