David “The Crow” Loiseau and “The Dean of Mean” Keith Jardine are the most recent fighters to receive their walking papers from the UFC.
The release of Jardine (15-8-1) came as a surprise to some fans. Even though he has lost his last four fights, he has truly made a name for himself in the light heavyweight division. With wins over Chuck Liddell and Forrest Griffin, Jardine proved to be a real contender. Jardine’s final bout in the UFC was against Matt Hamill at the TUF 11 finale, which he lost via majority decision.
