When it comes to having a strong bond with this Nations heroes and professional sports I believe there is no better relationship than the one between the Ultimate Fighting Championship and the United States military. Two different aspects of life, but the warrior spirit in common, makes for a unique and special bond and a growing partnership with limitless possibilities. Some like Randy Couture, Brian Stann, Tim Creduer, and Brandon Vera share that bond, for they were ex service members themselves. The UFC has had two “Fight for the troops” cards UFN 7 and UFN 16, which seemed to showcase fighters giving it all in some of the most brutal, injury causing fights in the UFC’s past. They fought their hearts out, knowing it was for a great cause.
