The UFC will return to the scorching hot battleground of Brazil for UFC on FX 8 with a card packed with local talent. While injuries have done some serious damage to the top of this card, the main event remains intact and holds title implications for the victorious. One of Brazil's first MMA heroes and current superstar, Vitor Belfort will once again take to the cage, facing the last Strikeforce Middleweight Champion Luke Rockhold. We've also got Rockhold's former foe and sub grappling legend Ronaldo "Jacare" Souza making his debut inside the Octagon, taking on a rising force in Chris Camozzi. There are plenty of others waving the green, yellow and blue as well, so let's dig into this card and see what's cooking in South America.

The UFC was back in their second home of Brazil tonight for UFC on FX 7. The event took place inside the Ibirapuera Gymnasium in Sao Paulo, Brazil and feature Brazilian Vitor Belfort against Michael Bisping in the night’s main event. The always ruckus Brazilian crowd cheered on as their fellow countrymen took to the Octagon.

The first UFC event of 2013 will take place in the promotions new favorite spot, as middleweights Vitor Belfort and Michael Bisping square off in the UFC on FX 7 main event. The Brazilian Belfort will fight in his home country against the Englishman Bisping, who is trying to finally earn himself a title shot. Their five round non-title main event will take place from inside the Ibirapuera Gymnasium in Sao Paulo, Brazil.

The UFC is back in Rio tonight with a card full of Brazilians looking to put on a performance for the fans at UFC 153. The Brazilian fans saw the card get hit by the injury bug that scrapped the top two fights on the card but ultimately got more then they could have ever hoped for tonight.

The UFC will return to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil on October 13th with UFC 153: Aldo vs. Koch. Tickets for the event will go on sale this Thursday August 23rd and the complete UFC 153 fight card has now been finalized. The card will take place at the HSBC Arena, which held the successful UFC 134 and UFC 142 events.
