As the apple drops in the big apple, Dream 18 and Glory 4 will be taking place in Tokyo with some great MMA and Kickboxing. The Dream portion of the show will feature seven MMA bouts including lightweight champion Shinya Aoki vs. Antonio Mckee. The highlight of the Glory portion will be an eight man, one night heavyweight kickboxing Grand Slam.
As UFC 141 concluded it is then time for the yearend spectacle that is the Dream: New Year! 2011. From the Saitama Super Arena in Saitama, Japan and broadcasting live on HDNet Dream: New Year! 2011 offered up a jam-packed card with a wide assortment of combat sports.
There comes a time when it’s not just wise, but mandatory for a professional fighter to call it quits. Due to a previously scheduled Arena Football game at the HP Pavilion, today’s UFC on FOX 7 weigh-ins were held less than a mile away at the California Theater. The small theater was completely filled with cheering fans and all the fighters they came to see made weight.
