Every season of the Ultimate Fighter offers up a mixture of talent. You got the young talent looking to make a big splash, the fighters that have worked their way up the MMA ladder and then you there are the ones who’ve had a taste of the limelight and are looking to get back. The latter is where Kansas City, Missouri’s James Krause falls into.

After a two and a half-year layoff, Justin McCully is back and will be making his second trip back into the cage for Resurrection Fighting Alliance. The drive to compete and to test himself is what drew him back to fighting, after going just 2-2 in the UFC.  The recently turned 36-year-old didn’t know what to expect when he got back in that cage, on December 16th, to face Justin Grizzard.  What he got was a TKO win, a date to fight Derrick Lewis at RFA 2 and the confidence in knowing that he can still perform at a high level in MMA.

Sean Loeffler Confident heading into UFC Debut at UFC on Fuel TV

On tomorrows UFC on Fuel TV: Sanchez vs. Ellenberger card, nestled on the preliminary card is a bout featuring two middleweight fighters making their promotional debut. California’s Sean “The Destroyer” Loeffler, with 30 professional bouts under his belt will be taking on Jackson’s MMA product Buddy Roberts. Loeffler enters a division that already holds some of the most interesting characters the UFC has to offer and will fit right in with the best of them.

Coming up on February 16, is the fourth installment of the Las Vegas grown promotion Superior Cage Combat. Since their inaugural event back in May of last year, SCC has become home to many up-and-coming professional fighters as well as many former UFC fighters. In the course of a year, SCC has become one of the best run Mid-tier professional fight leagues in the MMA circuit. From high-quality production value to great performances from fighters, SCC has definitely grown over the past year and looks like they will be around to stay.

If the Fans want it, Forrest Griffin would Fight Tito Ortiz Again

Mixed Martial Arts legend and former UFC light heavyweight champion Tito Ortiz appears ready to hang them up. Having just one fight remaining on his current contract Ortiz has requested to end his career with a third bout against either Chuck Liddell or Forrest Griffin in July. Since the “Iceman” has already retired, that just leaves Ortiz with a rubber match against Griffin.

It’s amazing how fast time flies. It doesn’t seem that long ago when we watched the quirky Diego Sanchez on the first season of The Ultimate Fighter. Sanchez would go on to finals of the Middleweight tournament and pound Kenny Florian en route to a TKO victory. Since then Sanchez has managed to keep himself relevant in the UFC but not without having to face adversity.
