MMA has been on hiatus for the first third of the month and fight fans addicted to the sport are starting to going through withdraws. Thankfully those of you suffering from the shakes get your fix this with Friday’s MFC 37. Things begin to pick up from there as there will be two UFC events as well as LFC 20.

As the bantamweight champion Dominick Cruz heals from injuries, the interim champ took the opportunity to make a rare interim title defense while furthering his legacy

The UFC returns to the UK this weekend as Renan Barao defends his interim bantamweight title in the UFC on FUEL TV 7 main event. While bantamweight champion Dominick Cruz continues to heal, Barao will take on Michael McDonald in his first title defense.

The UFC takes to England once again, and while there are no hometown heroes in the UFC on FUEL TV 7 main event, I doubt you'll find anyone complaining in the ticket line. With Dominick Cruz sidelined for an extended period of time, Renan Barao is forced to defend the interim title, taking on the young and ultra-talented Michael McDonald. Also, we have a possible number one contender stop in the Featherweight division, as Cub Swanson faces Dustin Poirier in another explosive contest.

It’s been just four days since UFC 148 but the Octagon will once against play host to tonight’s UFC on FUEL TV 4 from the HP Pavilion in San Jose, California. Headlined by a possible middleweight elimination bout between Mark Munoz and Chris Weidman, the winner could find themselves next up for UFC middleweight champion Anderson Silva.

On the heels of a decent UFC 148 PPV card, the UFC will deliver some free entertainment packed with talent at this Wednesday’s UFC on Fuel TV 4. With the number one contender spot on the line for the Middleweight division, a couple of weight class shuffles, and some competitive scraps, we'll have a great mid-week MMA boost, and a chance to turn a few bucks at the expense of the sport books.
