The 13th season of The Ultimate Fighter is quickly coming to an end. This week’s episode featured the last two semifinal fights that were really entertaining but would unfortunately get overshadowed by two unfortunate events.
The field has been cut down to eight fighters left still in the running for the six figure contract with the Ultimate Fighting Championship. This week’s episode saw half of the quarterfinal action as Clay Harvison took on Ramsey Nijem and Chris Cope faced Shamar Bailey.
Sometime things just aren’t meant to be and for Javier Torres winning the 13th season of the Ultimate Fighter just wasn’t in the cards. Javier’s not hanging his head though, taking a page from his coach who tells them that everyone losses and you learn from them
You had to figure the episode with start off with Len Bentley and his displeasure for not being picked as a wildcard. Following the picks Bentley pulls Dana White aside and asks for Ryan McGillivray in the finale. White looks a bit perplexed and asks him why didn’t he show this passion earlier?
A fully loaded episode last night saw the last four fighters stepping into the octagon. Along with the two fights the wildcard fight was announced that will complete the preliminary round.
