Team Alpha Male Dominates WEC 52

Last night at WEC 52 three fighters from the same fight camp completely dominated the competition. The Sacramento, California-based “Team Alpha Male” brought its leader (Urijah Faber) and two others to The Pearl at the Palms in Las Vegas, Nevada where all three fought on the main.

WEC 52: Faber vs. Mizugaki Predictions

The second to last WEC card takes place tomorrow in Las Vegas, Nevada at the Pearl at the Palms Casino Resort. WEC 52: “Faber vs. Mizugaki” is packed with 11 fights, headlined by “The California Kid” Urijah Faber making his bantamweight debut and Takeya Mizugaki. Faber brought along his team Alpha Male teammates, Joseph Benavidez and Chad Mendes who are on the night’s main card.

Winner of Chad Mendes vs Javier Vazquez Could Get Next Title Shot

The WEC fighters at Team Alpha Male, more often than not have a say in what both the WEC Featherweight and Bantamweight title pictures look like. They look to follow that trend as Chad Mendes meets Javier Vazquez November 11th at WEC 52. The selling point for the Mendes vs. Vazquez fight is that the winner would likely position himself near the top of the newly formed UFC Featherweight division.

WEC 52 Main Card Breakdown

This Thursday, November 11th, the WEC makes its last journey to Las Vegas for its final event ever to be held at The Peal inside The Palms Hotel. This card has had its share of injuries and fighters being shuffled around but with just a few days left the Fight Card finalized.

Breaking News: Jens Pulver “announces” future with WEC

On today special edition of Fist-Ta-Cuff Radio Jens Pulver made an announcement regarding his MMA future. The Former UFC Lightweight and WEC Featherweight champ will no longer be fighting. If you think that was the big news you’d only be half right there as Lil Evil had one more ball to drop. Starting in June (July at the latest) Pulver will be replacing Frank Mir as WEC commentator for all their events. Pulver is not a stranger to the commentors spot having did locals shows plus some of the early UFC events too.
