A stacked Bellator MMA 97 main card closed out the promotions summer series with two title fights and two tournament finals. The promotions two most dominant champions were in action looking to stay undefeated and light heavyweight King Mo looked to earn a title shot.

Back from a long vacation, Bellator came back with a fury to heat up our Summertime MMA with tonight’s Bellator 96. With two tourneys in the works and some high-profile singles bouts, we had plenty of action in the cage, so check out the breakdown below if you missed out.
Four tournament bouts took place tonight at Bellator 90 setting up the finals in both the Welterweight and light heavyweight brackets. The four winners needed only a few minutes each to finish their fights in impressive fashion.

The first month of 2013 starts out pretty slow in regards to MMA. The topic of PED usage in the MMA community got more than its deserved share of press coverage this past year. Multiple positive test results coupled with suspension, and release announcements became what almost seemed like a monthly occurrence.
