The usual happy-go-lucky MFC light heavyweight champion Ryan Jimmo has a beef with his opponent Rameau Thierry Sokoudjou. The two will square off on Friday October 7th at MFC 31: The Rundown on HDNet for Jimmo’s light heavyweight championship belt.

UFC 135 packed the Pepsi Center in Denver, Colorado for a 10 bout fight card that was headlined by a light heavyweight title fight between Jon Jones and Quinton “rampage” Jackson. Returning to the home of first two UFC events, the 135th (184th overall) event saw a broken jaw, a sleepy zombie, a Hall of Famer potentially fight for the last time and a champion has his “special day” ruined again.

UFC 135's Fight Day will come to you live from the Pepsi Center in Denver, Colorado on September 24 at 5pm ET/2pm PT. Hosts Dave Farra and Megan Olivi will get fight night started and Fight Day will break down all of the main card action with expert panelists Matt Brown of HeavyMMA, John Morgan of MMAJunkie and "Showdown" Joe Ferraro of Rogers Sportsnet.

Average Joe’s turn into ruthless business men, quiet athletics become fiery competitors and in the case of Mixed Martial Artist Nick “The Headhunter” Chapman, the nice guy becomes a calculated lunatic when he steps into the cage.

Jon Jones is in full control of his career inside and outside of the cage heading into UFC 135. I've seen a lot of writers say that he looks uncomfortable trading verbal shots with Rampage in the months, weeks and days leading up to his first career title defense Saturday Night. I beg, I don't even beg, I just flat-out differ. As a matter of fact I almost feel like I must be watching some completely different programming.

Say what you will about UFC 135, but this card has me excited, not just as a bettor, but as a hardcore fan. The entire main card is worth the price of admission, with a theme of the night being grizzled veterans and new generation fighters. One such bout is the title fight, and while it isn't the bout we should have had, former champion Quinton "Rampage" Jackson will look to take out rising superstar Jon Jones in his first defense of the belt. The real question is, how can we cash in on these fights?

Heading into next weekend’s UFC 135 in Denver, CO the light heavyweight division title is up for grabs and the fight has received mediocre fanfare but should really be watched as one of the most important fights of the year not only for the division but for the MMA current landscape as well. Champion Jon Jones will be facing a serious test when he stands across from former champion, Quinton “Rampage” Jackson and the fight possesses ramifications that will change the 205 lb division for sometime afterward.
