Just four days removed from Saturday’s UFC 148, the UFC returns to San Jose, California with the UFC on Fuel TV 4. The last time the UFC was inside the HP Pavilion was for UFC 139 last December which was headlined by one of the best fights of the year between Dan Henderson and Mauricio Rua.
On the heels of a decent UFC 148 PPV card, the UFC will deliver some free entertainment packed with talent at this Wednesday’s UFC on Fuel TV 4. With the number one contender spot on the line for the Middleweight division, a couple of weight class shuffles, and some competitive scraps, we’ll have a great mid-week MMA boost, and a chance to turn a few bucks at the expense of the sport books.

Just days after Strikeforce held an event in San Jose, California, tickets for the UFC on Fuel TV 4 in San Jose will begin its presale today. Tickets will go on sale to the public for the UFC on Fuel TV 4 as well as UFC 147 this Thursday May 24th.
After one of last year’s “fights of the year” took place at UFC 139 in San Jose, California, the UFC will be making a return appearance to the HP Pavilion on July 11th. The former home of Strikeforce will host the UFC on FUEL TV 4 event, headlined by a middleweight fight between Mark Munoz and Chris Weidman.
The New Year didn’t seem to cure the injury bug that had plagued the UFC during stretches of 2011. Middleweight contender Mark Munoz was scheduled to face Chael Sonnen on January 28th to determine the next challenger to Anderson Silva. Unfortunately an injury has forced him off the card and it will now be Michael Bisping versus Sonnen for a shot at the middleweight title.
