With the addition on Anderson Silva vs. Chael Sonnen to the top of the UFC 148, the July 7th fight card was arguably one of the most stack fight cards in History. Now with two title fights and several former champions anchoring the main card, you had to think something had to give.

Many UFC fighters don’t make it past three consecutive losses, let alone four but the Japanese Judoka Yoshihiro Akiyama has done just that. After winning his UFC debut against Alan Belcher at UFC 100, the fighter known as “sexyama” has lost his last four bouts. Not only did Miller draw a top Middleweight for his return bout, by being matched up against Michael Bisping, but he would also have to play opposing coach for the most recent season of The Ultimate Fighter reality series, that aired last year on Spike TV.

The knockout, it’s a fan favorite and something every fighter loves to do yet doesn’t want to be on the wrong side of it as the same time. A knockout is a violent thing of beauty for one fighter but an ungraceful disappointment for the one lying on the canvas wondering what just happened. Lucky for them there is that little thing called replay and they’ll be seeing it over and over again.
