UFC 145: Jones vs. Evans Medical Suspensions

Following this weekend’s UFC 145: Jones vs. Evans event, the Georgia Athletic and Entertainment Commission passed out suspensions to 20 of the 24 fighters. Three fighters were issued lengthy suspensions, while one was given an indefinite suspension.

Jon Jones and Rashad Evans finally got a chance to settle their score at UFC 145.  It seemed however that neither man was dead set on exacting their revenge.  In the co main event, Rory MacDonald continued to show why he is a future champion in the UFC.

Jon Jones and Rashad Evans have been bearing down on each other like scud missiles and tonight they finally met inside the celebrated UFC Octagon.  The first round saw some standard back and forth action with the key moments being a double kick to the body by Jon Jones, and a Rashad high kick that set up a tense moment for Jones.
