If the FOX executives had a thing against blood then they really didn’t like tonight’s UFC on FOX 6. Nasty Elbows turned unlucky fighters into a bloody mess that would have made any horror movie director proud. It was the flyweights that headlined UFC on FOX 6 but the featherweights and lightweights stole the show.

It seems like these FOX cards have been getting special treatment as yet again Saturday’s UFC on FOX 6 looks stacked. Headlining the card will be the flyweight champion Demetrious Johnson as he makes his first title defense against The Ultimate Fighter winner John Dodson.
After longer than a year off due to an undisclosed injury, John Hathaway (16-1) returned to his fighting ways at last weekend UFC on FOX 3. Hathaway faced the tough German Pascal Krauss, a formerly undefeated rising prospect out of team Roufusport. In the fight Hathaway proved to have the more effective striking and grappling by completely dominating Krauss for a unanimous decision.
The UFC on FOX 3 card started off tonight with two bouts streaming on Facebook before the remaining six preliminary fights aired live on Fuel TV. The third installment of the UFC on FOX will feature a four fight main card, headlined by an important lightweight showdown between Nate Diaz and Jim Miller.
Still working out what will work best on network TV the UFC returns to FOX this Saturday with the UFC on FOX 3 from East Rutherford, New Jersey. The third installment on FOX has four main card bouts that should have a little bit of everything to showcase the sport and the UFC to new and old fans watching on network television.
In the first part of 2010 Pascal Krauss could be found atop many “Top Prospects” list and with a 9-0 record and all of his wins coming by way of submission or knockout, the young 22 year-old German appeared to be a sure lock as the best fighter to not fight inside the octagon. Then in August 2010 he signed with the UFC and shortly after made his debut, in his home country of Germany versus Mark Scanlon. The fight earned both fighters “Fight of The Night” bonuses with Krauss coming out victorious via unanimous decision.
