(Chandler, AZ) On Saturday March 19, 2011 the Arizona promotion Rage in the cage will bring its fans the 150th event, live from the Wild Horse Pass Casino in Chandler, AZ. On hand for the event will be special guest Anderson Silva who will be bringing two fighters to compete at RITC 150, will be there to chat with fans and sign autographs.

Rage in the Cage Arizona held its 149th Mixed Martial arts card was held in at Wild Horse Pass casino this weekend once again featuring UFC veteran fighters and a very exciting fight card. The packed house was ringside for 6 full unified rules fights which included 6 stoppages, and only two outside of the very first round.

It was a quick exciting night of fights but great action as always, here is a break them down of the nights action.

roland 200x300 RITC Founder Rolland Sarria Discusses His BJJ Blackbelt For quite some time many mixed martial arts schools around Arizona have openly bashed Rolland Sarria and flooded forums with slur about his self promotion to Brazilian Jiu Jitsu black belt. MMA Valor went down to the Rage in the Cage Training Center to find out firsthand the truth behind the advancement from Mr. Sarria himself. He seemed very frustrated during the interview trying to express how he felt on the matter, and it definitely cleared up everything I have read online or heard bickering around the MMA scene in Arizona.

It was a packed house even with the UFC and Strikeforce taking place at the same time, and the fans were fully into the fights.

During Friday’s Rage in the Cage 145, James Fabbri secured a kimura from side control that looked really bad and ended even worse when Matthew Mito refused to tap. The Referee was forced to step in and call the fight in the first round when Mito didn’t tap and his arm was contorted the wrong way.

On the 144 card only 1 of 14 fights went to decision and only 2 fights left the first round. RITC 145 had 17 fights and only 6 went to decision and many finished in the first round. The fighters and matchups are great and they are always trying to please the audience.

This lead to a very exciting night full of brutal knockouts and submissions and only 2 fights out of 14 going past the first round ( one split decision / one round 2 TKO). The event was jammed packed with lively MMA fans and their new home hub at Wild Horse Pass Casino is the perfect arena to watch live MMA. Every fighter in every fight met in the cage and really went out of their way to put on a great show, and MMA Valor was proud to cover the event which is broken down below.
