The time has arrived, UFC 154 is upon use and hopefully the welterweight division can get back to some form of normalcy. Welterweight champion Georges St-Pierre returns to action after a long absence to take on the interim welterweight champion Carlos Condit to unify the belts.
The UFC welterweight champion returns to action this weekend as Canada’s Georges St-Pierre looks to unify the belts at UFC 154 in Montreal. Also looking to unify the belt will be the interim welterweight champion Carlos Condit who defeated Nick Diaz way back in February by unanimous decision. St-Pierre has been out since April of last year after injuring his knee late last year that required surgery.
The UFC made a quick turnaround following Fridays UFC on FX 4 with Saturdays UFC 147, aka the TUF Brasil Finale. Live from the Mineirinho Arena in Belo Horizonte, Brazil, UFC 147 crowned two new TUF winners in Cezar Ferreira and Rony Mariano Bezerra.

The first ever international edition of The Ultimate Fighter reality series premieres tonight. The Ultimate Fighter: Brazil will air in Brazil on Globo however it will be streaming in North America on TUF.TV at 9pm PT / 12am ET. TUF: Brazil will not be live like the TUF Live: Team Cruz vs. Team Faber, instead it will bring back the old format of being taped like the previous 14 seasons.
Tonight the first Strikeforce, post ZUFFA purchase event took place in Stockton, California at the Stockton Arena with Strikeforce Challengers: Wilcox vs. Damm. The 15th installment of the series features some of the top Mixed Martial Arts talent the state of California has to offer from two of the best MMA gyms around.
Ok, it’s officially Strikeforce Challengers 15, but it’s also Zuffa’s first Strikeforce event which is exciting. There are some tremendous fights on this card, so make sure to tune into Showtime and check them out. While the card might not be filled with name fighters, it is filled with talent and could be a very fun card

Due to a previously scheduled Arena Football game at the HP Pavilion, today’s UFC on FOX 7 weigh-ins were held less than a mile away at the California Theater. The small theater was completely filled with cheering fans and all the fighters they came to see made weight.

SAN JOSE, Cal. – Still recovering from Saturday’s UFC 148, MMAValor.com was inside the HP Pavilion for today’s UFC on FUEL TV 4 weigh-ins. A few of the fighters would need to step onto the scale behind a towel but all 22 fighters on the UFC on FUEL TV 4 fight card made weight.
