With two events happening at nearly the same time, MMA fans were given the full of MMA overload. The Strikeforce Heavyweight Grand Prix: Barnett vs. Kharitonov undercard fights aired on HDNet with five exciting fights. Coming off back to back wins, MMA veteran Pat “Bam Bam” Healy returns to action this Saturday at Strikeforce World Grand Prix: Barnett vs. Kharitonov. Stepping onto the card in place of the injured Josh Thomson, Healy will open the night’s main card on Showtime against the Venezuelan Maximo Blanco.
The line-up might be different from what many had imagined, the Strikeforce Heavyweight Grand Prix soldiers onward.
