Ultimate Fighter season 13 winner Tony Ferguson will take on the veteran Dennis Hallman at the next UFC on FOX card in May. The bout was announced Monday via the UFC official twitter account and will most likely be a part of the nights preliminary card.
Welterweight Chuck “Cold Steel” O’ Neil has trained with some of the biggest names in MMA today, and it shows. Chuck is no stranger to the cameras having most recently taking part in TUF Season 13: Team Lesnar vs. Dos Santos. As a part of Team Lesnar, O’ Neil’s shining moment was his impressive D’arce choke victory over Team Dos Santos Javier Torres as the fight was coming to a close.
After a great debut for the new season of ‘TUF’ this past week on Spike TV, we will witness the lightweight debut of TUF 13 winner Tony “El Cucuy” Ferguson (11-2). Ferguson blasted his way through Season 13 of The Ultimate Fighter, winning all four of his fights by KO or TKO. With only one of those fights leaving the 1st round, but like the rest, it ended in convincing fashion.

Upon the announcement that Brock Lesnar and Junior Dos Santos were going to be the coaches for the thirteenth season of The Ultimate Fighter, it was meant with many groans and complaints of “why is Lesnar going to be a coach, he only has 7 pro fights” and many other variations on his experience level.
Well, it wasn’t the best season of the show, but it was certainly an entertaining event! So, what to make of all this action and new UFC fighters? Allow me to make some observations and see where all these fighters are headed.
Heading into Saturday’s Co-Main Event on The Ultimate Finale 13, many felt that Anthony Pettis would be the man earning his next shot at the UFC Lightweight Title. Well Clay Guida came away with a unanimous decision victory over Pettis, propelling himself up the rankings and possibly setting himself up for a future date with the winner of Frankie Edgar and Gray Maynard battle if and when they do meet again.
When the middleweight matchup between Ed Herman and Tim Credeur was announced for the Ultimate Fighter 13 finale, the first thought was “ring rust”. Both fighters had been out of action for over 21 months and typically when coming off a long break like that they show some ring rust upon their return.
