Two former UFC fighters headlined tonight’s ring of Fire 39 event held at the Fillmore Auditorium in Denver, Colorado. Eliot Marshall (8-2) was making his first appearance since being released from the UFC back in March. His opponent was Ultimate Fighter season three finalist, Josh Haynes (13-10) who was released from the UFC after going 0-3. The two fighters went the distance, with Marshall coming away with the unanimous decision. He didn’t get that dominate performance he would have liked but did come away with the win which is ultimately the most important thing.

The fight card was a 50/50 mix of professional and amateur mixed martial arts, with 8 fights in all. Here is the complete results from the night:
