Ultimate fight Night 22 results

Ultimate fight Night 22 is in the books and besides the odd finish, the night was very solid. The night had several hard-fought matchups that went the distance with surprisingly no crazy judges decisions. Only three of the 10 fights ended early and the winners of those fights were all rewarded with fight bonuses.
The only oddity of the night came during the main event when Rousimar Palhares tried to lock in his specialty, the heel hook on Nate Marquardt. At first glance it looked deep, but Marquardt quickly slide his leg out from the grip of Palhares. Immediately Palhares stopped, looked for the ref and pointed at Marquardt, as if to say something wasn’t right. That proved to be a bad idea because Marquardt didn’t hesitate and rocked the defenseless Palhares in the face, which lead to the fight being stopped shortly thereafter.
Joe Rogan caught onto this as did the Referee Herb Dean did as well. Marquardt was looked at by both the doctor and Dean and cleared by both. When asked by Rogan after the fight Marquardt said he purposely came into the ring warm so he’d be sweaty when the fight started. It was an odd end to an otherwise good night of fights, here is the complete results for the night.
