Strikeforce: KJ Noons showed he is the better man

Leading up to last night’s rematch that was three years in the making, both Nick Diaz and KJ Noons were on their best behavior. During pre-fight interview, press conferences and even the weigh-ins the rivals at times almost seemed friendly.
Come fight time the two were ready to go and finally looked the part of heated enemies.
The fight was primarily a stand up fight, only going to the ground once during the first by way of a knockdown. Diaz attempted only four takedowns throughout the five rounds and was unsuccessful on all. That didn’t stop him from putting the hurt on Noons, who had his jaw broken in the first round and fractured his left hand in the second round.
Though the fight went the distance, Noons was clearly out of the fight after the second round. Diaz used his reach and unorthodox striking style to keep Noons of balance and clearly disrupted his timing.
No one including Noons would disagree that Diaz was the better fighter last night, but he was absolutely not the better man.
During the post fight interview Diaz called out Noons as a boxer, telling the fans he was the better boxer. Noons told the media he hadn’t heard Diaz say anything and when told what Diaz said, Noons just shrugged them off by again saying Diaz was the better fighter.
Things got worse when the press conference was over as Diaz stopped to do a Video interview for another MMA website. Immediately as the interview begins, Diaz starts flipping the bird multiple times while mouthing the words f$@# you. Then today word has came out that Diaz and another rival, Jason Miller got into backstage following the press conference last night.
Nick Diaz is a great fighter and the current Strikeforce Welterweight champ, but time and time again he reminds everyone how a champ shouldn’t act.
