Bellator 36 Fight Card and Predictions

Following last week’s Bellator 35, which opened season 4 for the promotion and kicked off the welterweight tournament, Bellator looks to continue that success at Bellator 36. Today’s Bellator 36 will feature the start of the lightweight tournament with the eight fighters facing off in four quarterfinal bouts.

The lightweight tournament had a very late change as Josh Shockley was moved up from the nights undercard to replace Ferrid Kheder in the tournament. Kheder had declined to step on the scales at the weigh-ins knowing he was overweight and would be unable to make weight. Bellator called on Shockley, who had already weighed in for his undercard bout and will now face Toby Imada in the quarterfinals of the tournament.

Bellator 36 will air on MTV2 at 6pm PT/9pm ET from the Shreveport Municipal Auditorium in Shreveport, Louisiana.
