Stellar UFC Lightweight Evan Dunham was looking forward to taking on George Sotiropoulos and get back into the swing of things, but an undisclosed injury has forced him to step out the fight which was scheduled for UFC 132. Evan Dunham has lost two consecutive fights to Sean Sherk (questionably) and Melvin Guillard (decisively) and you know he wanted to get back in their and attempt to right the ship.
MMA Junkie has reported that George will remain on the card and the slick submission specialist (14-3) will fight a yet to be determined replacement fighter. Whoever steps in against George will certainly have their hands full. George of course had won seven consecutive UFC fights before being upset in his last outing by Dennis Siver.
UFC 132 is live from Las Vegas’ MGM Grand Garden Arena on July 2nd. The card is as follows:
Champ Dominick Cruz vs. Urijah Faber (Bantamweight Championship)
Wanderlei Silva vs. Chris Leben
Carlos Condit vs. Dong Hyun Kim

Jason “Mayhem” Miller vs. Aaron Simpson
