Al Iaquinta takes home 50k worth of Bonuses before even fighting tonight
Before TUF Live finalist Al Iaquinta even entered the Octagon against Michael Chiesa at tonight’s TUF Live Finale, the straight-faced lightweight walked away 50k richer. During the night’s preliminary card the UFC announced the TUF Live season awards, voted on by the fans.
Iaquinta walked away with the Knockout of the Season for his win over Andy Ogle in the quarterfinals and Fight of the Season for his preliminary split decision win over Miles Jury. Each bonus was worth 25k and Mile Jury also won 25k for his part of the Fight of the Night performance. The only award Iaquinta didn’t get a piece of was the Submission of the Season, which went to Joe Proctor for his rear naked choke victory over Chris Tickle in the preliminary round.
Iaquints will go for even more bonus money later tonight when he faces Chiesa in the finals.
