UFC 154 Medical Suspension: The Quebec Combat Sports Commission handed down 60 day suspensions to Martin Kampmann and Patrick Cote following the bouts last weekend. Main event winner Georges St. Pierre received 28 days, while main event loser Carlos Condit was given 30 days. The majority of the remaining fighters on UFC 154 received only a 14 day rest period.

Todd Duffee is back in the UFC: With Matt Mitrione stepping in to face Roy Nelson at The Ultimate Fighter 16 Finale someone needed to face Phil De Fries, so in steps Todd Duffee. The news of might come as a surprise considering the one-time prospect has only fought twice since being released back in May of 2010, going just 1-1. None the less, Todd Duffee gets another chance inside the Octagon and takes on Phil De Fries on December 29th at UFC 155.

Jay Hieron vs. Erick Silva added to UFC 156: The traditional UFC Pay Per View on Super Bowl weekend gets a welterweight addition. Both fighters are coming off recent defeats and no matter if their fight appears on the undercard or the main card it still holds major importance for both.

Yves Edwards and Jeremy Stephens take two: Edwards was left waiting for Jeremy Stephens at last month’s UFC on FX 5. Stephens never was released from jail but he gets another chance at Yves Edwards after John Cholish was scratched from the bout. Their bout will appear on the night’s preliminary card on December 8th from Seattle’s KeyArena.
