Papy Abedi defeated Besam Yousef by Split Decision (28-29, 29-28, 29-28)

  • Abedi came out very strong but began to slow and gas out towards the middle of the fight. Yousef hung in there after lossing the opening round and made the fight very close.

Tom Lawlor defeated Michael Kuiper by 2nd rd Guillotine Submission

  • Kuiper injured the knee  Lawlor with a judo throw but the UFC veteran was able to push through it and secure a submission victory.

Ryan LaFlare defeated Ben Alloway by Unanimous Decision (3-27, 37-27, 30-27)

  • This fight was all Ryan LaFlare. Though he was unable to finish, he was dominate none the less.

Conor McGregor defeated Marcus Brimage by 1st rd TKO

  • This two fighters went right at each other as emotions seem to get in the way of Brimage. McGregor landed three uppercuts that dropped Brimage and the Irishman was able to finish the fight from there.

Adlan Amagov defeated Chris Spang by Unanimous Decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27)

  • It was not exciting to say the least as Amagov used his leg kicks and unorthodox striking to keep the boxer Spang on his heels. By the third round Spang was chasing Amagov down but could not land anything.

Tor Troeng defeated Adam Cella by 1st rd Guillotine Submission

  • The Swede made it look very easy against fellow TUF 17 fighter Adam Cella. Tor Troeng took the fight to the ground and setup the submission with the ground and pound.

Reza Madadi defeated Michael Johnson by 3rd rd D’arce choke Submission

  • Fun fight to close out the Facebook prelims and early candidate for FOTN. Johnson nearly knocked out Madadi in the opening round with a big knee but it was near the end of the round and the fan favorite survived. Madadi took over after clearing the haze with his wrestling and submission game.

MAIN CARD (FUEL TV, 11 am PT / 2pm ET):

Akira Corassani defeated Robert Peralta by Unanimous Decision (30-27, 30-27, 29-28)

  • Both fighters were nearly knocked out in this fight but Akira controlled things with his footwork, striking and timely takedowns.

Diego Brandao defeated Pablo Garza by 1st rd Arm-Triangle Choke Submission

  • Might have been the best Diego Brandao inside the Octagon tonight. He was very calm and once he got the fight to the ground he completely dominated Pablo Garza.

Brad Pickett defeated Mike Easton by Split Decision (28-29, 30-27, 30-27)

  • Not sure about the 30-27′s because the was a really good exciting fight. Pickett really mixed it up, using not only his power but the takedowns as well to earn the decision.

Matt Mitrione defeated Philip De Fries by 1st rd KO

  • De Fries missed on his first takedown attempt and when he tried it again he ran into a wall called Matt Mitrione. De Fries ended up on his back with Mitrione pummeling him until the fight was over just 19 second into the fight.

Ross Pearson defeated Ryan Couture by 2nd rd TKO

  • Couture used lots of movement, his jab and the clinch to win round one but in that round never really hurt Pearson. Couture continued to do the same in round two but once he made a mistake Pearson capitalized on it and finished him with a flurry against the cage.

Gegard Mousasi defeated Llir Latifi by Unanimous Decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27)

  • After Mousasi stuffed the first takedown attempt from Latifi he went into full jab mode for the entire fight. Mousasi made the face of Latifi look like hamburger meat when that jab and coasted to his first win inside the Octagon.
