UFC Fight Night 31: UFC Fight for the Troops Predictions
Tomorrow’s UFC Fight Night 31 marks the return of the UFC Fight for the Troops event. It’s been roughly 22 months since the last Fight for the Troops and let me say that it’s long over due and welcome back.
Live from Fort Campbell and in front of a full house troops, former US Army Ranger Tim Kennedy will take on Rafael Natal in the UFC Fight Night 31 main event. Kennedy is coming off a decision win against Roger Gracie in his UFC debut but was unhappy with that performance and will be looking to make a statement in front of the troops. Natal (not Rafael Nadal), is fighting for the fourth time in 2013 and is coming off a fight of the night performance against Tor Troeng.
In the co-main event, former marine Liz Carmouche makes her third trip to the Octagon when she takes on Alexis Davis. After losing to the Bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey in the first ever women’s UFC bout, Carmouche rebounded impressively in here next bout. Davis is riding a three fight winning streak that includes a decision win over Rosi Sexton. As the women’s 135 pound division continues to grow your never too far away from a title shot and either lady could put themselves in great position with a win.
Overall there are 13 solid fights taking place at UFC Fight Night 31. Nine of which will air live and free on FOX Sports 1 and the remaining four will stream live on Facebook and Youtube.
At last months UFC Fight Night 30 and for the second event in a row I went 9-2 with my predictions that brought the overall totals to 211-103 (67.2%).
